Introduction to text and translation feature

In this article, we'll walk you through the Translations feature. By the end, you'll know how to seamlessly change content and translate to match your store's languages. Let's get started!

Part 1: Introduction to Text and Translation

  1. For pre-order campaign
  • Delivery Messages: This is the content displayed for the "Expected delivery date" field set in your pre-order campaign. Each message corresponds to the options you select in the campaign.

  • Partial Payment Messages: These messages inform your customers about their partial payment plan and remind them of the due date for the remaining balance. There are two scenarios for partial payments:
    • Final payment is based on a specific date.
    • Final payment is due a certain number of days after checkout.

  • Other Elements: These include additional text fields, such as the "PreOrder Now" button text, discount badge text, and stock count messages, shown in your pre-order widget.

  1. For back in stock campaign

You can customize and translate text for:

  • Notify Me Button: The button customers click to get notified.

  • Notify Me Popup: The form for customers to enter their email or details.

  • Success Popup: The confirmation message displayed after a customer subscribes

Part 2: Steps to set up text and translation

Step 1: Open the "Translations" page from the navigation menu.

Step 2:

  • To modify content in the default language: Simply edit the text fields under the "Default" section.
  • To translate into other languages:
    • Click the "+" button to add a new language.
    • If you haven’t published any languages in your store yet, click "Publish new languages" to enable translations.
    • Choose the language you want to add and enter the translations for each field.

Step 3: Click Save to save your changes.
